Cremation in Amarillo, Texas

None of the 8 providers in Amarillo publishes a price on its own site. That is normal in this trade. Call two or three and ask for the direct price, the difference between them is often several hundred dollars.

We could verify 8. 4 of them list a phone number. The list on this page is sorted by how much each one tells you, not by who paid, because nobody pays.

Ask for the price of a direct cremation, meaning a cremation without viewing or ceremony. Under the FTC Funeral Rule a funeral provider has to give you price information on the phone, and its price list has to show a separate price for direct cremation with an alternative container, such as a cardboard or unfinished wood box. No state or local law requires a casket for cremation.
