Cremation Providers Near You

51 cities and 49 states

Two kinds of places show up in a search for cremation, and the difference changes the price. A crematory does the cremation itself. A funeral home arranges it, often through a crematory somewhere else. Every entry below says which one it is.

Before you call

77 providers publish a cremation price on their own site. For a direct cremation the middle price among them is $1,625. See every price with its source.

A federal rule gives you the right to prices on the phone and to a cremation without a casket. What you can ask for.

What is missing, and why

Most prices are missing, because most providers do not publish them. Federal rules require a funeral provider to give you an itemized price list, but few put it online. Where one does, we quote the price from their own page with a link and the date we read it, and name what it covers, such as direct cremation. Everything else stays blank. A guessed price would be worse than none, especially here.
